Our Conference Travel Grant programme is open to students at UK universities who are working towards a doctoral qualification (PhD or EngD) in Materials Science.
The scheme supports attendance at academic conferences where applicants will present their research, either as an oral or poster presentation. Priority will be given to applicants delivering oral presentations.
Grant awards vary according to the location of the conference, with a maximum award of £900.
We plan to open applications annually on 1 February with a closing date of 31 March. Please check back for updates.
