We work in partnership with leading UK companies who share our interest in and commitment to promoting Materials Science as an exciting and rewarding career for young people.
Each year they make donations to the Gauntlet Trust and the funds are expended on mutually agreed activities. Our current partners are Rolls-Royce plc and AWE Nuclear Security Technologies.
Grants are made through our own Materials Science Scheme and through the jointly funded schemes with AWE and Rolls-Royce.
We also have long-established relationships with 25 UK universities to support undergraduate and postgraduate education in Materials Science.
