The annual Venture Prize competition is organised as a two stage process. Stage one is to complete the online application form which is structured as a simple business plan and explores the quality of the scientific innovation and the commercial potential of the project. No commercially sensitive information is required. Shortlisted applicants are then invited to give a presentation to the Venture Prize Committee in May. The winner is announced at the Armourers & Brasiers Cambridge Forum in June.
The schedule for the 2024 Venture Prize Competition is as follows:
December 2023 - Application period opens
Friday 15th March 2024 - Closing date for receipt of online applications
April - shortlisting by A&B Venture Prize Committee
Monday 13th May 2024 - interviews of shortlisted candidates (in person at Armourers' Hall)
Tuesday 18th June 2024 - announcement of winner at Armourers & Brasiers Cambridge Forum
